Storage and Prep  101

We want to ensure that your delicious baked goods remain fresh and delightful upon arrival. Below are some guidelines on how to properly store, keep, and prepare your shipped perishable baked goods:

SAVE YOUR SWEETS!

Storing

  • Upon receiving your package, promptly remove the perishable baked goods from the shipping box.

  • Store the baked goods in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

  • If your baked goods arrive with specific storage instructions, please follow them accordingly.

  • For items like cake pops, cookies, and chocolate-covered pretzels, it is best to store them in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

Keeping

  • To prolong the freshness of your baked goods, consider freezing them if you do not plan to consume them immediately.

  • Wrap the baked goods securely in plastic wrap or aluminum foil before placing them in an airtight container or freezer bag.

  • When stored properly in the freezer, most baked goods can last for several weeks without compromising quality.

Preparing

  • Before enjoying your baked goods, allow them to thaw at room temperature if they have been frozen.

  • For items like chocolate-covered pretzels, you can simply enjoy them as is.

  • Cookies may be warmed in the oven at a low temperature for a few minutes to restore their freshness and enhance their taste.
