At August Pastries, we take pride in being a black, female-owned family-operated-from-scratch kitchen. Our journey started in 2006 as an idea and has since grown into a business fueled by our passion for baking. Every treat that leaves our North Carolina-based kitchen is made with the finest ingredients and every step is taken with love and care. We dedicate ourselves to the art of baking and aim to create delicious treats that are perfect for all occasions.

The meaning of August is very special to us, not only because it is the month that our owners, Sonya and James, got married, but also because it represents devotion to each other, our community and most importantly, our God. We strive to maintain the highest level of quality in our pastries, cakes, and bread, so that every time you indulge in one of our treats, it becomes a truly special and sacred experience.
